Same. I don't think I've seen a Z on the internet with the CE SLs. Everyones got the TE's though. Decided to take a few more pics as well.

Absolutely love those wheels. Being a square setup though are you planning on running spacers in the rear?

He won't need to, +15 in the rear is a perfect fitment.

I was asking since the fronts are gonna poke more than rears. Or just run more camber up front? There is a set of wheels i havent bought because they are 18x10.5 +15 square and i dont wanna run spacers in rear

Yeah very rarely if at all do CE28s sell for the Z. Most we sell is TE37, so you are correct! But these will / should look amazing.

If I wanted the rears to fit exactly like the fronts, sure I could use a 5mm spacer or so. But even without it I think it looks great. Especially being a track set up, I'm super happy with how it sits. I'll drop some photos in here tonight.

Agreed, you don't need them, I'm +18 with my te's and they poke slightly in the rear and more in the front, but I love the setup!

I understand, i didn't mean anything negative by it just asking since i wasn't sure. Im sure they look awesome on there. Currently running spacers in rear and car held up fine at the track past weekend nothing wrong with that. If i did go aftermarket wheels id want to ditch them out of pure preference.

Lol, sorry about the tone! There is just a lot misinformation out there and I was trying to make the point that if you can't get the fitment you want with your wheel of choice, there is no reason to settle if spacers will get you there. Now I agree if you are trying to bridge to big of a gap....that's not good!

Hey Guys!

Loving all of these 18's setups

Im finally in the market to buy a set of wheels but had a question regarding wheel/tire size.

After hours of reading through all the forums and trying to understand wheel specs, I think I finally found a setup that i'd like.

Im thinking about getting the Enkei GTC01RR or RS05RR in these specs

F: 18x9.5 +22
R: 18x10.5 +15

As for the tires, Im looking at two different options and would like some input as to which tire size would work best. I plan on dropping the car on HKS Coils (already ordered) The tire specs I have in mind are

275/40/18
305/35/18
OR
285/35/18
295/35/18

Any help/insight would be highly appreciated!

Either setup will work, I'd opt for the 275/305. 285 is bigger than I'd personally go on a 9.5" but I know people do it.

OR
285/35/18
295/35/18
And now for some maths...
IIRC, stock diameter is F26.9 R26.7

Where desired tire size = (Diameter) x (tread width) R ) (rim size)
For 26" range diameter:
275/40R18 = 26.7x10.8R18
295/35R18 = 26.1x11.6R18
305/35R18 = 26.4x12R18

For 27"range diameter:
275/45R18 = 27.7x10.8R18
285/40R18 = 27x11.2R18
295/40R18 = 27.3x11.6R18
305/40R18 = 27.6X12R18

no matter how you look at it, those 10.5 rims are gonna be more bubbalicious than J-Lo with 305 on them. Good for straight I would think, but would also think gonna have a sloppy handling feel in corners and potential of roll n pop bead

If you are going to lower it too, you could end up with clearance issues as well on your diameter size once lowered

my .02

P.S. this site is great! https://tiresize.com/calculator/

I tracked this entire year on a super lowered car (have raised it since just for performance reasons) with a 305/30/19 on a 10.5. Never really had an issue with feel or the bead (looked sweet too). Might just be preference though
