Very nice. Like the spacers idea. The one thing i dont like on the z are the offsets.Thats why i went with my after market setup.

Tribalpinoy91 12-28-2012 08:56 AM

Im more of a daily driver so i opted for the 18's, much less cabin nose!

clintfocus 12-28-2012 10:17 PM

im on 18s as well. Enkei PF01 18x10.5 all around, et28 front(et38 with 10mm spacer) and et15 rear. Nitto Nt05 285/35/18 all around

Really nice pictures everybody . I'm really liking 18's on our Z's. I can't wait to order my TC105N's!

guru 12-30-2012 02:45 PM

haven't had the wheels on long enough to get that many good side shots. here are a couple of semi side shots. one from a local photo shoot and one from HIN in houston.

After reading and drooling over this thread, I have officially decided to grab some 18s instead of 19s in the spring! Now I can afford some swifts springs with the bbk and wheels and tires AND save some money.

*Clap clap* for everybody in this thread.

Yep. They are. 18x9.5 +35 all the way around. Went with a square set up 255/45. Thinking I may go back to staggered later with 275 in the rear

Yeah I probably would have gone with the +15 all the way around with a 20mm spacer in the rear. Would be similar to my setup. You still might be able to get away with a big spacer in the rear, the fronts look good.

clintfocus 01-04-2013 11:20 AM

18x10.5 or bust :p

I actually just ordered 30mm. Got 20mm spacers on now.

Ill 01-05-2013 10:06 PM

Just a matter of opinion, if it was your Z what would you do?

1 - Staggered Set with these tires with Tein

or

2 - 18x9.5 all around and these tires with Swifts

The tires might change (family friend owns a tire shop, going to try and get a deal or two) but the general idea won't. Staggered or square? Swift of Tein? Do I need spacers or no?

I live in the midwest, the roads are not the best to say the least. They need to clear the Sport Akebono calipers. Snagging and installing those in a few weeks.

I have been reading thread and thread all day, cannot make up my mind.

Any questions feel free to ask. I appreciate the time anybody takes to reply to this message.

Cheers,:tiphat:

Squared or :gtfo2:

chrischhorn 01-05-2013 10:18 PM

Not sure why spring setup and tire set up changes at all but whatever. Square if you are gonna track it would be best but you will need spacers on front and rear to flush it up. It shows +40 as the offset. Gonna need a 20/35 spacer set to make it look flush. RE-11 or Michelin SS all day long. Forget the Sumitumo if you want some real good grip. Swift springs all day long.

Spring and tires change because of my budget. Saving a few hundred dollars here and there add up, broke college student here. It was worth asking, if it didn't make a huge difference I figured somebody would have spoken up like you did :icon17:

Appreciate the answers though,
Ill

VDC_OFF 01-07-2013 11:32 AM

Sorry dude but the only thing I like out of those choices are the RE11's. No disrespect but TSW makes me throw up a little in my mouth. Also stay in the 0-22 offset range. I recommend

Square widths:
9.5 +15 with spacers in the rear.
10 +22 with spacers in the rear.
10 +15 ( very aggressive) with spacers in the rear.

Staggered widths:
9.5 +15 or 10 +22 up front
10.5 +15 or 11 +15 in rear, hell you can even do a 12!

Ill 01-08-2013 02:15 AM

No need to apologize, different strokes for different folks.

I was / am looking because of the price and they have the color I would like. I'm open to other brands its just money makes it hard to find a replacement. Know of any off the top of your head that might work?

I have three months so I'm in no rush

Once again for the suggestions.

Enkeis are pretty cheap and good JDM quality. Contact Top Speed in Dallas, they have the best prices on those. I was quoted like $275-$300 for new RP03's in 18x10's. They have a new lineup coming soon for 2013 :excited:
