Why oh why doesn't Michelin make the Pilot Super Sport in 285/35 19? I'm thinking a 255/40 and 285/35 would look PERFECT on my stock Sport Rays. I don't know

Wanting Wider Tires
Why oh why doesn't Michelin make the Pilot Super Sport in 285/35 19?
I'm thinking a 255/40 and 285/35 would look PERFECT on my stock Sport Rays. I don't know what to do... I want to go a little wider, but still stay within recommended parameters. I know that I could put a 295/30 or a 305/30 on the stock wheel, but it might not look right. Maybe Hankook V12... They make it in the 285, but have reportedly squishy sidewalls and not as good wet/dry traction as the Michelins. Anybody got any pics of a 295/30 or 305/30 on a stock 19" sport wheel while on stock suspension?

I just might Iwan. I was really wanting some Michelin PSS tho. Yah, the RE11s would be better than the Hankooks wouldn't they?
How's the road noise and tread wear on them?

As for the RE11 yeah this is better than the hankook V12 Evo. with superior sidewalls and better grip. The road noise a better than the oems, as far as the tread wear it's pretty good for a soft particle |

Nah, they don't make them in the 285/35. They make em in 275/35 295/30 and 395/30.
I really wonder how soft the RE-11s are Compared to the PSS. Bridgestone lists them as 180, and Michelin at 300...but that's subjective to the manufacturer.

I've been on my friend's car which equipped with the Michelin PSS and they're good! they actually surprises me since i do a lot of driving in a rainy condition and the RE11 held great, and the PSS done better. |

That would unfortunately put me out too far on height. Stock size 275/35 speedo shows 60mph while 285/40 would register 56.9mph. That's 5.271% too slow.
I might just go 295/30 and 265/35. I can get the Michelin PSS in that, and it might look ok. Thoughts?

Not tracking and I only wish there were canyons here in Florida! There is, however, the tail of the dragon about 8 hours away.

I'm running 275 + 295, but not on stock wheels (I'm on 18x10 + 18x11). If I had to do it over again, I'd probably go 275 on 18x10 at all 4 corners. The x11 + 295's in the rear is more rubber than this car needs unless it's FI.
