On a 9" wide wheel, you can go down to a +6 for the front. For the rear, with a 10" wheel, you can go down to a +16 offset.
Is this also the same for clearing the sport brakes or will that vary from wheel to wheel depending on the spoke/hub?

I haven't seen any 1 or 2 piece wheels that wouldn't clear the brakes at those offsets. Some 3 pc wheels could possibly be an issue, but chances of that are pretty low.

If you're ever unsure, you can get exact measurements and check before dropping the cash.

You need a 52-55mm pad high for front
And 22-25mm pad high for rear.
