New Wheels and Drop! Mag Black /w WORK GS2's BRU finish
12 Attachment(s)
Hey guys!
got my new wheels mounted last night :D, almost had an issue with a near close stripped bolt from guys who installed my springs tightening one extremely tight... all good in the end ;) had a bit of a moment as well with the fronts, there is a bolt on the fronts which need to be removed, it doesn't actually do anything other then stop you from putting other wheels on the car, attempted to put the wheel on and was like WTF is going on here! anyway had a bit of a scary moment thinking maybe they were manufactured with the wrong Disk or something to fit, but little cheeky bolt I remembered from someone elses thread :D so very excited and can't stop staring at the car everytime I see it, love it and couldn't have turned out better imo! anyway wheels specs are as follows cause I'm sure everyone will ask if I don't add it! dropped on H&R springs (springs were installed yesterday so may sit even slightly lower over next couple weeks). fronts, 20x9.5 +15, 255/30/20 Nitto Invo tyres rears, 20x10.5 +5, 305/25/20 Nitto Invo tyres Lug nuts are WORK RS-R blue. Had to roll the car onto some spare roof tiles to fit the jack underneath the body haha, didn't have any pieces of wood laying around or anything else to drive onto! Laid cardboard over them so when they shattered didn't damage the car ;) Couple extra pics at the end, of when I got it home just before putting the new wheels on how it was sitting with the stock wheels. Thanks to Mark at Ravspec for these, great guy, very friendly to deal with and smashed him with so many questions!! Was very worried about the exact fitment as it's illegal to run spacers here in Aus, definitely didn't want to add spacers etc.. fitment came out perfect imo. |
PS, sorry pics aren't really the best, was taken with an iphone for now and weather here is very crappy at the moment :(
Will be sure to post up some good ones after a shoot! |

|
Those look great on your car. Congrats!
|
Looks great.
Any issues with tires rubbing running that width? I'm running 245/35 and 275/30 on 19s (same width as you) cause I was worried about the HRs causing rubbing. Now I'm always worried about tire pressures and rim damage from running such a high stretch. Your fronts look about as stretched as mine but your rears have a lot more meat. So far so good with no rubbing or are you getting it on bumps? |

Ok i sold my volk GT-30's to my friend. He put them and some spacer on his black 370. He is lowered about 3" front and rear on coilovers, his specs now are 20x9.5+10 front and 20x10.5 -5 in the rear. He is runnings some camber in ther rear and the tires are 255/30/20 F. & 305/25/20 R. Lots of other pics in here but his is the black 370 w/Volks. http://www.the370z.com/southern-regi...re-thread.html |

no rubbing what so ever, haven't hit any really big bumps/potholes yet but on way to and from work there are couple pretty crappy parts of the road which are quite bumpy and don't get any rubbing. Also can full steer lock etc.. no rubbing Also not running any camber arms either. |
