Didn't Tony fit four tires (2 in the back and 2 up front in the passenger seat) before?

It would suck to get in an accident with them, though.

Remove the spare tire, you can do it. One in the spare tire well, one on top and between the seats. You should be able to slide the smaller 245 fronts in the passenger seat

I can get my sister to go with me, just wondering if I would need to resort to that when it was new tore time. Didn't think about the spare, we have a full size one right? that's a good thing to remember.

hey guys about to order re-11, what tire size do you recommend ? I would like to go 265/285 but am afraid this will cause too much understeer? does anyone have any other recommendations?

keep in mind that 265-35-19 is almost .5 inches smaller diameter from stock. and a 285-35-19 is slightly larger (.27) than stock.

thanks for the advice guys, this is proving more difficult than I thought I will occasionaly track my car, not often as I have a dedicated track car, but will do some lapping nights where a track car is overkill. So looking to rid of some of the understeer in the car by upping tire size. so the the 265/285 works in Re-11; would you guys recommend these over lets say a 255/275 ado8; or a michelin pilot supersport? I dont care about looks more about performance. any advice would be greatly appreciated; the ad08's will be a bit cheaper which is nice and the PSS would be more expensive.
thanks in advance, |

I don't know too much about tires, so are you suggesting the larger rear tires will cause understeer? If i go 285s for the rear because re-11s don't come in 275s, should i go wider up front as well to avoid understeer?

You can't go too wide on the front tires without compromising safety as the stock sport wheels are only 9". You can stick a 285 in there, but there is always that risk of stretching the sidewalls too much. Does it make the car faster and drive nicer? Absolutely, you just have to weight your risks with performance vs. safety. Car has 54%+ of its weight in front, you don't think it would benefit from having a big tire in front? You are kidding yourself.
