What's with these tires?
I am running a set of nitto Invos F: 245/35/19 and R: 275/30/19s on my 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5+12 volk wheels, and can't get traction when either accelerating wot in 1st and 2nd, and sometimes from a roll if I get rear redline it looses traction as well. I had a 500hp vette that barely lost traction lol, is it just these tires or is the 370z just not able to get a grip? My 350z did have some traction issues also, but it was running 4.08 gears and only had issues on low tread level tires, not tires with tons of tread like my invos have. What tires are you guys running that perform better then these nittos?

Well I looked at the tires and noticed they are completely worn on the insides. The car has only 5900 on the odometer and not even that many on the tires. Car was never tracked or anything like that, so not really sure why they are shot already. It's lowered on stance coils, but my 350z was lower then this and I was getting 20k miles on a set

Its in the alignment. Once you go too low, adjustable arms are required to keep the alignment in check. Also, out of spec toe settings really eat tires, almost worse then excessive negative or positive camber.
Did you get an alignment after you lowered the car? |

I would get stickier/fatter tires, add some negative camber, and maybe look into an LSD upgrade if you're still having issues |

The car doesn't have an aftermarket camber kit. I think if I go with a 285/35/19 I'm going to rub. It's pretty low. I'm going to buy a camber kit. Is anyone on here selling a used set?

Culprits:
1. Bad Alignment 2. Too narrow a tire 3. Loss of tread due to 1. 4. What's the treadwear rating on the invo's anwyays?

I think its treadwear rating is 220 if I'm not mistaken. My Mocal oil cooler just started seeping oil out of the bottom 3 rows and now I'm trying to get that replaced too. It's pretty crappy lol, the car is so new I didn't expect to need anything for a while!

I had Michelin Pilot Super Sports which are supposed to have a 300 treadwear rating and last for 25k+ miles... I had to replace my rears (295/30) at 8k due to bad alignment and uneven wear. Your problem isn't the tires.

new doesnt mean much when you mod lol but sorry to hear your havin such issues. Ive only heard great things about invos so its surprising to hear they didnt work out to well for ya but sounds like youre just so far cambered that basically your usin the inner edge of the tire only.

Invos are good tires, I run them on my Viper (but theyre 14.5 inches wide haha) but the invos are usually a pretty common choice in the Viper world as they get traction pretty decently. Not the best out there but the Z shouldnt have an issue breaking them loose in second..
