Progress.
Left: 245's which is what my car started life with on the rears Middle: 275's I upgraded to before the nipples were off the OEM tires. 245's up front at this point Right: 345 the new rear beef. The 275's are going up front now ![]() |

Apparently these things are way out of measurement until mounted. I was warmed about measuring them beforehand (which I already did of course lol) and would just scratch my head and wonder how they were going to work if I did.
So, somewhat heeding that advice albeit after the fact, I'll be patient and relatively confident about their fitment until the wheels arrive and can actually air them up. I can see how they would be different in their most aired down un-mounted state; the rubber is so soft you can pretty much manipulate the entire tire by hand. Gosh, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if one could mount them without a tire machine ![]() |

use some good "Murphy's" tires soap or equivalent & you can...may have to put the backside of wheel hub on top of something,to keep tire from working against you.

Wonder if there is a substitute. Or maybe I should just leave it well enough alone since I need to take the TPMS out of the old ones anyhow. |

Start with about 35 psi. See how it rides and handles. Don't go with the spare tire psi. The spare tire if a space saver is constructed differently then the regulate tire.

Just when I thought I was doing good upgrading from my stock 18's and rubber to stock Nismo wheels and Conti 245's/285's, I gotta look through a thread like this. So now I "must" move the rear tires up front and get some 325's for the rear.
