so far everything ive seen points to tons of grip but the 200 tread wear rating is laughable at best. pretty much they put 200 on it to pass for autocross classes but daily driving will destroy them fast.

there's a couple thread up on here so far with a few reviews and first reactions.

yea I was really looking forward to trying these but a. they are only in oem sizes and I wanted to stick with 265/305. b. after seeing reviews on them falling apart quickly and me using the Z as a warm weather DD doesn't help. I don't have a spare set of wheels currently that I could mount track tires on and swap.

I totally agree on both. I wanted them a bit wider but they are not available and although i hardly do long road trips if at all the weather here in Puerto Rico is warm year round so thats not good either

And the problem to get tires here in PR is the other thing that we have to get in mind bro... not too much options or shops that sell wider tires

Tell me about it bro. Thats why i decided to get rid of my 20" wheels. For my turbo application is has been next to impossible to find wide and sticky good tires in that size even the Michelin Pilot Super Sport which is a great tire is also impossible to find here unless you order it from tire rack.

Totally appreciated Carlitos . I'll call in the next few days and see what they can tell me. Change to the stock 18' from the 20's today and damn what a difference in performance. The car feels lighter and although not the best tires the stock yokohamas definitely have better grip than those useless nitto invos.

No problem bro I like to help and more if you are a Boricua too lool!! BTW totally agree with you... the stock Yokohamas are a lot better than the Nitto Invos.... I have those tires right now and they are good but to make them grip good I have to run 1 to 2 laps on Ponce Raceway before they make a good grip on the track....

And I know that feeling from the 18"hahaha!! the car feels a lot better I try my friend Stock 18"on my Sport Package and I love them haha!!

Absolutely any time you need help my friend . BTW agreed on the tires and it seems the Nittos and Toyo are the easiest tires for shops to find here cause damn what a pain to find other brands.
