Ok, so original Nismo rear wheel offset is 23mm. With 325s, my tires are flush with the fender (no spacers). A 345 is 20mm wider than a 325, so that means it would stick out an extra 10mm on each side.

Taking all that into equation, the ideal offset sould be between 30-35mm.

So, a 19x12 +30 with a 345 would be a pretty flush fitment.

I would suggest going with 20s however. A 345/25R20 is within 0.2% overall diameter of the original 285/35R19s. The 345/30R19 is 1.1% larger which is no big deal, but with these sizes, my opinion is that 20s would look better.

Thanks brother!! That helps a lot really appreciate it.. I also need to take into consideration my rear alignment specs they are as follows -2.14 camber .10 toe
With that in mind would 19 12 +35 be the right fitment?

Yes, exactly. Depends on ride height and alignment. My previous post was for stock ride height and alignment.

I like the 19's over the 20's because of our wonderful highways we have here ( full of potholes) also wanted to run a set of Michelin PSS & the 345/25/20 is either Pirelli or toyo...325/30/19's are 26.7" diameter (stock diameter for mine) those would be good on an eleven " wheel.... The 345's would fill the fender well more... One small thing holding me back now...$$$

I definately wouldn't recommend that.

I'm pretty certain a 335/30R19 will fit the OEM Nismo wheel as well. Maybe even a 345/30R19...although noone has tried it.

out of curiosity why wouldn't u recommend it?
quality and reliability are for sure not a problem at all.
that's a fact so why else?

I just don't personally like squeeze massive tires on small wheels.

Quality and rigidity is exactly the issue at hand. These are Rays, Forged wheels...some of the highest quality wheels out there. They are press-forged from a single piece of aluminum and are then machined into their final shape. This is specifically done so that the wheel can be strong and lightweight. Cutting it in half, adding another piece of aluminum, then welding all the aluminum back together (which I don't know how familiar you are with but it's very difficult for someone to do properly and will never be as strong as it was before it was cut) is an iffy process. Those wheels are not recommended for anything but a show car that does not drive at high speeds and just sits most of the time for show.

On steel wheels it's more acceptable (although I would never drive on a wheel like that), but on an aluminum wheel it's just out of the question for me...I wouldn't pay anyone to ruin my Nismo wheels and make them extremely dangerous to drive on...a pothole could easily crack or seperate that aluminum weld. It's better to just spend the money on new wheels and do it properly. Although honestly I don't see the reason of going with 345 over 325 or 335...There's barely a difference.

thanks for the info, u changed my mind.

I've just been reading so much about ppl not having any problems even with track cars and drag cars that I figured it was fine.

but for tire width going from 325 to a 345
I guess it's the same reason ppl go from 285 to a 305.

wider wheels more traction after super chargers installed for me but so far I think I'll still go with 325 on a 12" wheel just because I don't want the fluffy balloon look

That may work for some; I have a base w/18" wheels,,, so I gotta grow up.. 18x9 rear w/275/40's +15 offset with 2.5-3" clearance inward & up to 1" out...(2.5 in & .5 out) would be good for me. Maybe I should just look for some factory Nismo wheels. 19x10.5 & put a 325 on that.

VinceThe1 the wheel that I'm looking at has a 19/12+38 size that I think should be about right to fit 345/30.. I'm on swift springs (bout 1.2" drop) with alignment of 2.14 camber .10 toe. What do you think? +38 seems as though it would be about right
