EXACTLY..... EPIC FAIL on their part......jk. Yes, 265/35 looks good on the front (275/35 is even sexier), but 325 or 335 on the rear is balls to wall bada**. I have seen the stock Nismo wheels with 265/35 on the front & 305/30 on the rear and it looks good (better than stock set up), but I want to see those individuals with 325 or 335 on the rear. The wheels do not have to be stock wheels. I heard that there are some individuals running 325 or 335 on the rear and could you guys post those pics please.

Would a 325 fit on a 19x10.5 rim (rear) & how would it look? The reason why I am asking is b/c I had a G35 coupe which had 19x9 rims on the rear. I replaced the factory tires which were 245/40 on 19x9 (rear) and went up four sizes to 285/35 and it looked pretty effen sexy.

I think a 305 looks just right on an 10.5" rim, 11" 315, 12" 325+ just my personal opinion.

I absolutely agree too big guy, but saying you have 325 or 335 as a rear tire is just EFFEN sick. As I stated already 305 is no small tire either & no joke. The bigger the tire, the better and no second guessing if that is a "mans" car either. The size of the rear tire is a dead giveaway and you are absolutely making a damn good statement. Everyone would be looking & wondering what size that rear tire is.

Just out of curiosity mate why do you want 275/35 over the 275/30s. Im after the 275 front 305 rear, but i would like to know the advantage/ disadvantage of the 30/35 profile. I do prefer the look of the 30 but will it be a much different in ride quality . Thanks

275/35/19 is the stock size for the rears. So figured we'd use the same tire when moving it to the front. Then for the rear, since the tires are wider, you would go down one step in sidewall profile, so 30 it is. 305/30/19 in the rear. 305 because stock is 245/275 so 30mm difference. 275+30=305.
Also, 245/45/19 has a total diameter of 26.7" (estimated). 275/35/19 has a total diameter of 26.6" (estimated). You want to keep the diameters as close to stock as possible. Stepping it down to a 30 sidewall puts the diameter at 25.6" (estimated). Last edited by OMGWTFBBQ; 02-07-2014 at 04:17 PM. |
