Fronts too narrow??

I was recommended to run a square setup, same rear size into the front tires. Then I can rotate tires by dismounting them etc.

They pretty much wear at the same rate, I am not sure how much you will be able to rotate them. If you drive/track enough, you will be going through a set every year. Just save whatever that is left and form a set out of it. I have my rear tires from 2 years ago that I will probably have to use this year in the front. I have said this before. My first set was $1240 installed, second set was $1350, now they are going to be over $1400!

Cossie1600 that pic you posted before--is that a pic of your 285's on your front 9x19? Because they seem to fit fairly flush with the 9 inch wheel. I assumed there would be much more tire bulging beyond the side of the wheel (I'm sure there is a techinical term for what I'm trying to describe...if you know it please educate me).

It's not flush, but it's not pathetic looking by any means. I don't have any recent pictures, but you can see the car from far in this picture

Thanks for posting the pic--I'm not worried about how the wheel/tire looks, I'm just am trying to access how feasible/durable the setup is. I know you autocross your Z and I'm trying to figure out the best tire combo to do the same. I know you've said no rubbing, but are your front fenders rolled?
