I find it odd that they changed the offsets that much as both cars are still very similar under the sheet metal. Unless you know for sure and have tried it, I wouldn't say it doesn't work. Has anyone tried putting 350z wheels on their 370z yet?

It would take too much time for me to search right now but I'm going based on people that have posted about test fitted 350Z wheels as well as vendors that have test fitted wheels.
Although there are some definite mechanical similarities between the 370Z and the 350Z there were also a lot of significant changes, there are very few old parts that are directly compatible. |

I was thinking of playing it safe and going with 265or275/35/18 in the front and 295/30/18 in the rear. I either want to go with Hoosier R6's or Yokohama Advan A048.

You could use the Hoosier R6's on the stock sport wheels in those sizes, but the Nismo wheels with their extra 0.5" inch widths would definitely be better. |

Chris,
Here's what I went with, did the best I could given that I'm in season now. Got the Nismo S-tune wheels, 19x9 in the front 19x10 in the rear, about 20 lbs by rays and forged. For tires I ordered 265/35/19 and 295/30/19 Hoosiers R6's. |

That will work pretty good. An extra 0.5 inches on the wheel width would have been nice, but given the stiff sidewall of the R6 I think you'll do fine. It's all about compromise at the moment, I have 275/35/19 and 305/30/19 on the same size wheels as you until I can get the Forgestars. The R6's have a ton of grip, especially on a warm track.

I'm fairly new to the Z realm, but I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction as to why someone would prefer a non-staggered setup as opposed to a RWD staggered fitment. The stock setup is a 30mm stagger (tire size wise) and I've seen a lot of people run a larger stagger than that. What advantages/disadvantages does the non-staggered setup offer? I know it all boils down to fine calibration regarding suspension/sway bars/alignment/etc., but I'm wondering if there's something more to it.
Thanks in advance!

Wheeldude.com Rota 18" wheels for $950 shipped *for all 4*. Lightweight enough and they look great.
Also, SPLparts sells 5zigen FN01R-C's in 18" - another lightweight, cheap wheel that is made in plenty of different widths and offsets.
