Doing at least a 10mm spacer on rear, maybe a 5mm on front...

kenchan 02-03-2012 05:13 PM

huh, from the picts it looks pretty nicely tucked (not sunken in). :)

GetYourWheels 02-03-2012 05:30 PM

Glad everything came out the way you wanted! Looks good!

One_Quick_Z 02-03-2012 05:44 PM

It's almost flush in rear, fri ts pretty good but the rear to most would look fine, an extra 10mm out will look way better tho.

When I have time I might stick a 10.5 wheel on front to see how it fits hmmmmm:yum:

NOFATCHX 02-03-2012 08:21 PM

Now I have to prioritize, have calipers done in bright red or have headlights do e in flat black...

GaleForce 02-03-2012 08:47 PM

Your car looks great! I agree with Kenchan, the wheels fit your car nicely. I wouldn't add any spacers.

What are your rim specs? offsets? also tire size?

I am on the fence with these. I like the look, but the weight concerns me. Have you noticed any loss in performance/acceleration since installing these?

Dark Sarcasm 02-03-2012 09:04 PM

damn i love those wheels

NOFATCHX 02-03-2012 10:28 PM

20x9 and 20x10.5, +20 up front, +15 in rear. 245/35 up front, 275/30 in rear. Lil less acceleration but still chirpin tires. Grip feels same as stock. Wheels weigh about 60lbs each with inflated tires.

GaleForce 02-03-2012 10:59 PM

Nice! Thank for posting the specs! +rep sir :tiphat:

NOFATCHX 02-04-2012 05:31 PM

Changed up the pictures ^

GaleForce 02-04-2012 05:39 PM

I have these same wheels on my car, and honestly don't notice any decreased performance from the weight. If your car is so finely tuned that you would notice the weight difference, then go with something else.
I'm a pretty decent golfer, but it makes no difference what brand ball I use. I'm not a pro, so it's not a big deal.

kenchan 02-04-2012 06:01 PM

if i go 5lbs or more gross weight per corner (tire and wheel combined) i can definitely feel the car is heavier to steer and to brake.

i went back and forth between my current weds with DW's (5.5lbs lighter per corner) vs the stock 19's with RE050A's to compare and there is significant difference. :) but for most folks driving as dd and stuff, no issue.

there is about 8lbs difference between my stock G's wheel/tire combo vs my summer 3pc wheel combo. the car definitely feels heavier to steer and brake.

Great Choice on Wheels!!!

GaleForce 02-04-2012 08:08 PM

On my DD I notice a big difference between my 17" stockers and my 16" steel winter set-up. It will come down to whatever I feel is more important to me, looks or performance. I really like the look of the Vossen's, and I have my eye on the SSR MS3's but I've been hearing that they are nearly the same weight... My other fun cars were more show than go so the weight didn't matter. Decisions, decisions... Your awesome photos don't make it any easier for me. lol

NOFATCHX 02-04-2012 08:51 PM

I cant complain, love the wheels, cant stop looking at the car and its definitely making me wanna further mod the car. Im almost cried today, theres a pin head size white mark on the lip of the wheel... maybe I shoulda went with 285 in the rear.. def getting some touch up paint.

StLRedrider 02-05-2012 12:18 PM

very nice!!!!!

That's the look I'm going for

NOFATCHX 02-07-2012 10:52 AM

Just ordered some reverse light overlays and headlight reflector overlays in a light smoke from Blue Batmobile to start bringing it all together, need to have windows tinted. After all this I'll contemplate a roof wrap.

Juruki 02-07-2012 05:29 PM

looks good!
why did you go with such narrow tires? they look stretched

kenchan 02-07-2012 05:47 PM

huh, i like how those tires look with a slight stretch. :D

Yup theres a slight stretch on the rear, its what I wanted. I wanna get the wheels as flush with fender as possible. The front isn't stretched tho... honestly it looks much better with slight strech, just have to be a lil more cautious when driving.

NOFATCHX 02-07-2012 07:12 PM

If anything maybe I should have done a 275/35 rather than a 275/30 on the rear... Im a sucker for detail and can see an ever so slight difference from front and rear tire thickness.

whoLEEoh 02-07-2012 07:16 PM

looks fresh

ClemsonWill 02-08-2012 10:53 AM

Gunmetal on white looks great! Congrats!

Miki 02-09-2012 03:32 PM
