Powder coat my rims matte black. Opinions?
 

I'm considering powder coating my rims matte black. I love the stock-ish look of them in silver, but I think my car needs some more contrast. I'm considering power coating em matte black (here's a picture of a mercedes on some...

or switching up to a 19 inch set up, as twenties and super low profile tires weren't really my thing but its growin on me. what do you guys think?

i would do graphite or gunmetal (even bronze for your white car) in matte though...

It think a Matte Black on that style of rim will look really good!

There are many choice as you know. One idea for you is matte black star with the lips gloss black or go all matte black with a silver or red rim stripe.

that's an interesting idea with the matte/gloss combo. you got a pic of something with that?

I would go gloss black but I'm pretty biased :)

oops. :icon17: in that case, scratch off bronze. i'd do graphite, gunmetal or the black you mentioned on matte. :)

I've always been a fan of gloss lips with matte center, but I don't think it works so well on a 1pc wheel. Go all matte in my opinion.
