Discount Tire. That is all. I took my car into Nissan and they wanted $100 for one TPMS sensor to be programmed. Needless to say, I left without paying that.

Need TPMS programmed? Read
Discount Tire. That is all.
I took my car into Nissan and they wanted $100 for one TPMS sensor to be programmed. Needless to say, I left without paying that. So I thought maybe Discount Tire can do it. Called them up. They said bring it in and we'll program all of the sensors for free. They pulled out their tool which registered all of the sensors, technically re-registering the old 3 and first time registering the new one. Drove out with a full wallet, no TPMS light, and only 15 minutes of my time. Long story short, take your sensors to Discount Tire and they'll do it for free or really cheap.

I did have a new one and Discount Tire was able to program it because they have a tool that reads the sensor and detects the code and all of the other information. It's legit.

Good tip. I have my own reset tool, but haven't had the need to reprogram Nissan ones yet. Actually, I don't even have the monitors anymore.

If it were me, I wouldn't have this at all. I'm old fashioned, it's easy to feel the if the car needs air or visually as well. But I'm just happy I was able to get away with all of this with no money spent.

I am not vouching for the usefulness in all situations, simply providing a link to the method Baer mentioned, since the mention with no source will inevitably make people curious.
