Just got back from Discount Tire on Hwy 59. The reset is free but apparently the sensors on the 2009 Nismo wheels I have don't mate up to the computer on my 2011 Z. My luck. I'll just wait and replace them with the correct sensors when I replace the tires. Mike

Actually you are wrong I put brand new sensors on my wheels and used this the home method and it works as advertised.

Any know if the car can recognize two sets of TMPS? I plan on putting TPMS on the Works but want to daily the Sport Rays.

I know it can hold up to at least 5 sensors. I've seen it in the system. Saw 4 of my original sensors and my newly registered one.

So you've got two sets of wheels, a winter/track and a daily driver set. All 8 wheels have OEM TPMS sensors. When you swap sets, you just do the paperclip TPMS trick and the Z re-regsiters the TPMS sensors that are installed? No trip to the dealer or a tire shop needed? Just a paperclip? If so, that is excellent! Last edited by Augustus; 02-24-2012 at 11:05 AM. |
