Wheel ? (feel stupid for asking)

Okay so I'm about to pull the trigger on some new rims well new to me... volk gts 19x9.5 +4 and 19x10.5 +8 was wondering if i was going to have any problems running them on the z im dropped on gf210's so about an inch-inch and a half all around.thanks in advance!

width is fine, don't know about those offsets though, that seems pretty aggressive but I don't know enough for you to take my opinion whole heartedly lol

iceman21_23 01-17-2012 09:41 AM

yea i know the width is fine... its the aggressive offset I'm concerned about lol.

the front is super aggressive compared to the rear. Your front wheels will be poking and your rear will need a spacer to match the front fitment. you will also need to run stretched tires and some camber to clear the front fenders.

^ yep. lots of camber, IMO, and stretchy looking tires. the rear isn't far off from the typical +12 offsets most people run, so you'll be fine there...but it will look really weird because the front is SUPER aggressive in comparison.

thanks looks like im going to pass these up then don't feel like running stretched tires...

kenchan 01-17-2012 11:26 AM

wow +4 in the front? yikes...

I wouldn't suggest running something that aggressive on lowering springs, either. The chance of wheel-fender contact would be pretty high.

We've been doing weekend specials on Volk wheels lately. Keep your eyes open... I might have another special this Friday.

Very aggressive offsets. What size tires are you runnning?

memorylasts 01-17-2012 03:20 PM

the front wheel it going to be sticking out a bit... imo... with a 9.5 on a 265 tire i would not go lower then +17(flush but drivable not going to rub) so your going to have to roll the front or something.
