Default Which rims?

Alright guys. I think I'm ready to start TASTEFULLY dressing up my roadster. My CBE and Coilovers are OTW so I'm looking at some new rims but would like to stay at relatively same size as Rays and POSSIBLY add spacers (not sure yet). After not being able to buy some nismo rims (because my boss is a d***), I decided on these rims. Seller was really good about my not being able to come up to dallas BTW. Anyway, here is my Z and my choices:

STOCK RAYS

Niche Flat Matte Black

Vossen Black/Silver Spoke

Vossen Matte Graphite

Thoughts, suggestions? I'm leaning towards Vossens in the middle

I would go with either Vossen's. Both are nice in my opinion.

Can I suggest you just keep your stocks over those options?

Anything else you're thinking of? What is your budget?

I'm really torn about it. I like the stock wheels but really like the concave look. I don't really have a budget just as long as it doesn't look ghetto. I want it to look aggressive and classy. Do you have any suggestions?

From the rims you listed, I would choose the Matte Vossen 5 stars. Personally I don't think this style of rim suits our car. The 370z looks so good when the rims have a lip to them. Maybe there is something that has lip and concave?

x2. Based on your listed choices, I'd just add spacers to the stock wheels.

Volk TE37s (lots of options, Super Laps, TTA, traditional TE37s)

Volk RE 30s

SSR makes a few really nice wheels.

Wedsport has a couple nice wheels for the Z as well.

Sorry OP, I never saw your response.

FL 4Motion just gave some great suggestions and I would suggest looking at either of these threads:

If I had to chose one of the wheels you listed. I would take the 5 spoke Vossens, just based on looks. But you're moving from a nice light weight wheel in your stock Rays to a (I think) a heavier wheel. Wedssport is a nice light weight wheel and pricing is good too. Another option is to pick up a set of nismo rays wheels, they have a great concave look. also a used set would be cheap too. (cheap for a wheel made by rays)

hummm... how heavy are those wheels? that's the thing, if your car's just a dd who cares, but if you're out driving spiritedly extra weight will affect handling and braking distance dramatically if you go above 5-6lbs per corner.

i suppose you can get lighter weight tires like the DW's to offset the wheel's weight.

Based on your original list, I'd go with the Vossen CV3 (the 5 spokes). Vossen is a great company to work with, and they've got a 5 year warranty. I don't know any other wheel company with a 5 year warranty. 4Motion and Waizzz both offered great suggestions, too.

I saw that you mentioned you wanted to stay near the stock Rays sizing, but add spacers. Any reason you want to go that route, instead of just ordering wheels with lower offsets?
