If only the outside edge of your tires are worn excessively (rather than both edges), it's probably not an inflation issue. If inside and outside edges are worn excessively, then it's most likely inflation problems.
If you push the car to the limit on stock alignment, you'll see outer edge wear. Add some neg. camber and that'll help a bit.
