Default camber kit and spacers questions

Hey everyone, just had some n00b questions:
I was about to get my car aligned tomorrow but I wanted to pick up some spacers so the rims is a little more flush.. Should I hold back on the alignment because it will throw the camber off again??

Also, do you guys think the camber arm kits will keep the car in line for the whole time? or must you get it aligned every year or years?

Thanks in advance
