Why do I want to go back to stock???
Been running pretty flashy aftermarket 18's for over a year, but recently I have had a strong urge to go back to stock 18 or stock 19. At first I wanted to go back to the 18 but I felt I would always regret not getting the rays, and this would be the second time to pass them up. But the 18 are easy to take care of and pretty sleeper looking. Anyways, anyone have suggestions of the best was to test the market for my aftermarket wheels besides here (I guess local Craigs list). Also, anyone swap between stock and aftermarket and go back to stock like I am wanting to. Just feel stock looks less tuner and a little more everyday, especially since they draw less attention that high profile after market.
Just curious what my fam thinks. |

Im getting wheels soon but currently have the 19" rays. My car is also daily driven. Ive been considering the same thing and am thinking about replacing the tires for my Stock wheels (tread is pretty worn) instead of putting them on the new setup. Thinking about saving enough money for having both sets of wheels with rubber and switching it up just for shows/when i feel like. Havent decided yet.... considering that I waited 9months for these wheels to arrive I may just jump into them when they come lol.

flashy aftermarket 18's... ok, you lost me from the first sentence.
unless you're financially bound, just keep the aftermarket 18's. you'll regret going back to stock unless it's a winter set or something. sport 19's look good though with spacers. |

I know the feeling. I've been thinking of repowdercoating the stock wheels on my CRZ from the black that I had them back to a silver.

many of the silver aftermarket wheels dont look that flashy like the TC105N from wedsport and SSR Type-F's in silver arent too flashy, but are still quality built wheels.
