Wheel Repair then powdercoat??
 

I have a little curb rash on two of my stock 19" rims. I want to get them powdercoated but don't know if I can take them to a wheel repair place first. I'm thinking if they blast the rims prior to coating that might undo the repair??

my friend had his rims painted and they fixed it up in the process. so try going to your powdercoater and ask if he could fix it up too.

Usually whenever powder coating is done they fix the rim first then paint them.

Anybody know of a good powdercoater in the san antonio texas area?

If the rash isn't too bad, it can usually just be sanded out during the prep process. For deeper rash, I fill with jb weld before coating.
