Have you tried to Lemon Law it? I don't know if it's applicable in this situation, but ask your lawyer.

NBS, I just want to first lay it out that I am not trying to take advantage of your misfortune.
Reading through all the pages about FS has opened my eyes about wheels in general. A lot of my friends are getting in to the car mod scene and we were lucky to have worked through a very very great guy (PM me if you want my recommendation) who got us excellent and beautiful wheels, but we had a few other low-reputation wheels in mind before our purchases. Won't mention what they are. With that being said, I want to say thanks for your help in providing us with your lessons learned. In the end we all want what's best for our Z's (I mean, our cars. hehe) and we want the best looking rims on our car. I have no doubt that your G will look hot when all is done and I look forward to the photoshoots! =) |

In the end, if you don't have the money to buy stuff that is quality and reliable, DON'T BUY ANYTHING. I can understand buying a fake spoiler or replica body kit... it isn't something that is going to put your life at risk. Buying low quality, inexpensive parts ESPECIALLY wheels, can kill you. Just like buying a fake seat or seat harnesses. I have run over some pretty hardcore stuff with my Weds and they are still perfect, things that would have bent VOLKs or Works. It makes me wonder if I had Forged Specialties wheels, what would have happened... they probably would have cracked and my car would have ended up off the road, or worse, going into other lanes of traffic. To put the icing on the cake... these guys are in denial about it. Constantly passing the buck. That really sucks and I'm glad I never considered them. |

at this point i would do a lot of thread merging / cleanup on the original thread. it's all a bit convoluted right now, but at least it was resolved. just...not positively.
