Will Enkei RPF-1 18" fit?
I'm pretty good with a lot of car related stuff but a total noooooob when it comes to wheel offsets and sizes.
Question: Will the Enkei RPF-1 wheel in 18" fit my sport pckg brakes? I was just tire shopping and I cannot stomach spending $325 ea. for the Bridgestone rears on my car. I just can't do it anymore. Not only that, but I frequent the track and want less weight on the car. The guy at Big-O Tires said they don't even stock any 19" tires and any "odd" sized tire is going to be much more expensive. WTF? |
I was told they don't fit the sport brakes by Enkei dealer in Dallas. They fit fine over the base brakes though.

Yes they will fit no problem. They even clear the Stillen AP Racing brakes which are a slightly bigger caliper than the stock sport brakes.
I have a set of 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 RPF-1. |
Yes they will fit. I've seen a couple of Z's with them. I almost went with them but I had to have 19's. My AME TM O2's are based on the RPF-1. I believe with the 18'' RPF-1 the best offset you can get is +22 offset front and back (wheels being 9.5F and 10.5R). Which is defiantly fine for the front. But you might want to run a 10-15mm spacer in the rear for DD if that reall matters to yea. I run a 10.

^Iirc, the 18x9.5 +22 wont clear sport brakes and you need to step to the +15 which will rub slightly (if on stock-ish settings)

Link to sizing chart: http://www.enkei.com/size_chart/RPF1.pdf I was looking at getting (F)18x9 +18 (R)18x10.5 +15 for my Z. But I will have to wait until April for that. Also going to have them powdercoated from getyourwheels before delivery. I cant stand silver wheels. Probably going to go with something a little extreme as well. |

I have the 18x10.5 +15 which is fairly aggressive for the rear but works well and I have no rub issues. Probably requires fairly aggressive camber though, I'm at about -2.0 rear. The front is 18x10 +38, no fitment issues but no where near as aggressive as the rear fitment.
I also looked at the PF01 which is another great option (and available in black). |
Thanks for the info guys!

I have to apologize for the dirty car, several cones were injured that weekend. |

Well...now I know for sure I will be getting RPF1's.
Thank you Belsavis. PS- if you have any more pics of them, I would love to see it. |

As for you earlier comment about the color, I can agree that when they are clean they are a little too shiny/bright silver. But the brake dust makes them a more subtle grey pretty quickly, which looks better lol. |
