They did not even use the right silicone ..This company is a joke nothing but lies .. It's going to cost me 300 per wheel to fix them properly . They keep saying it is the installers fault . I actually had to be towed when the fiRst wheel started leaking . I let the owner Chris know and he said Clyde was out of the states .. Nothing but shady people to deal with..

Srry to hear that your running into these problems! this is pretty common on cheaper 3 piece wheels... They offer you a budget price but more times than not you end up paying more to get things done right. If you came to me asking for chrome I would have really pushed you to polished! Chrome is such a pain in the @ss!!! cracks, chips and bubbles. The paint looks way too thin and looks like a rushed job. Also it looks as though they used home depot style silicon
They should be using a specialized silicon that costs around $200 for five bottles...

That's exactly what my repair guy said about the silicone .. I really wish I went with your wheels when I started to have problems .. My fault for believing them ..

Bullet please stay out of a thread you have nothing to do with like u did with Rick at VIP. First off they told him to go polished and not go chrome. So please. Sit back. Enjoy the show and don't input

You have nothing to add unlike what I was doing in Rick's thread... hmmmm I was actually making calls for people and getting them in contact with Rick ... Yeah I wasnt helping the community out there. I never said they didnt tell him to go polished... its the obvious choice these days. I am making comments on the actual quality of product people are getting from forged specialties which actually pushes their product against my product offerings saying that they are on par with what I offer except for hundreds or thousands less. It obviously shows you get what you pay for when it comes to wheels!

Op I'm sorry to see what happened and by the looks you know what you need to do. You've made your point of not being happy with the results and I don't blame you.
I wish you luck on getting them fixed. This thread is not going to stay open just for bashing Vendor or to be arguing with members so it's for this reason I'm closing this! We don't need anymore Drama. |
