I always have the alignment checked when mounting new tires. If it is out, then I have the alignment done. I don't know of a tire shop that charges to check alignment.
IMO, it's pretty cheap insurance to make sure everything is correct from day one. I don't feel like peeing a bunch of money down the drain. Our tires wear out quickly enough. |

As everyone has been saying, get your alignment checked with the new tires. Chances are you won't need an alignment but most shops will at least throw in a free check with mounting and balancing.

I think its more important to get it done right after you buy any new car, as most come from the factory a little out of whack, especially Nissans, but getting it checked with tires is a good idea.

just a filling. i looked at my old tires and they wore pretty good... iv'e got an appointment for next week at the dealership.. but i think i will cancel it and save the 80 bucks. when i was on the phone with them they had already tried to sell me a part they said i might need for the 370. |
