Default tire mounting at discount tire?

Since I could not find a place in which has touchless tire mounter in Dallas, I am just planning to go to discount tire and have them mount tires on my SL.
Anyone can share experience about aftermarket rims with them?
Thanks!

just put a new set of Continentals on the Z a few months ago. Went with these guys for the price, was a good choice, very friendly and knowledgable. I do have stock 19's though

soji- did you check local speedshops and wheel repair places? unless the discount tire has touchless mounters expect to have mounting marks all over your wheels.

I used Discount Tire to mount rims on the Cobra rims on my old Mustang and on TSW rims on my Crossfire SRT6. I can't tell you exactly what systems the had, but I watched them do the work and I have never had them damage a rim. Even with the extreme trouble they had stretching my GSD3's onto those TSW's.

usually around and near the tip of the rim. sometimes on the backside of the rim where its adjacent to the tire bead they will scratch paint off as well. and also need to look out for spoke damage.

it's just a matter of the shop having the right tools and staff so your local discount tire might have both. not sure. i would make sure the shop owner is aware that you dont want mount marks on the wheels. my local discount tires had neither and my wheels came out damaged. actually most tire stores in my area do not have this mounter and ends up with mount marks. this is why i drive out to tirerack to get my tires wrapped. my local wheel repair shop now has these tools so i will be consulting with them to fix my one sport wheel that was damaged by a local tire store when plugged.

with the right tools and staff there should be absolutely no damage at all.

I had them mount some new Michelin's on my stock rims back in April. They did a clean job and didn't do any damage to my rims. I was a little worried, because the shop I went to in NRH didn't even have lifts; they use jacks to lift the cars up.

Discount Tires have always done a good job with my rims and tires. Thumbs up. Many of the employees who work there are car enthusiasts too, so they know a thing or two about baller rims and they know how anal car enthusiasts are with their rims.

OP- Where ever you go, just ensure that you speak with a manager and explain to them that your wheels are more so a collectors item then a simple wheel on a car. The manager will usually offer to mount them himself, or make sure the person doing the work is competent. Just dont take to ntb, I had them strip one of my lugs on my car and damage one of my volks trying to get it off. The only NTB I would go to is the one off of Inwood and Spring Valley, they do great job and some of the employees drive z's.

You could also call Wheel Repair America. They are in Richardson I believe but do all the mounting/ dismounting when they refinish wheels so they know how to mount properly.

Just some suggestions.
