I love it. Sounds great with the Motordyne ART pipes. The exhaust is still only temp until mine gets a TT around Feb/March time.

345 is going to be useless with -3 camber. lol done that before and was barely using 3/4 of the tire on the street and still wasn't using all of it during autocross.

Edit: Where did I say it was -3 camber. Wholeeoh is speculating. It is at stock camber specs in that pic. That is my starting point. Taking it from there. Don't forget to post pics of 345 and -3 camber. Does this look like -3 camber? :icon17: http://i870.photobucket.com/albums/a.../20x13Rear.jpg |
Here is some perspective:
-5 degrees of camber on a 245/35/19. Way too much camber on a relatively narrow tire. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6009/...2ebe1799_o.jpg |

I have no pics of a 345 wide on my car. it doesnt matter how wide the tire is, if the camber remains the same your only going to use a certain percentage of it. steve is right, if you were looking for more traction you should've went to stockish camber specs before spending a ton of dough on huge *** tires. but hey its your car |
Right now camber is at 2.3 around the same original stock camber that came on my car originally.
You have 3.0 camber on 285 where the tire is only 10.9 wide. You have way too much camber. I didn't even have that much on the other 20x13. But you are going for a certain look I guess. The 345s tread width is more than your rear tires overall width. So i dont know how you know about 345s and camber if the widest you have gone is 285 and oodles of camber. If you lost so much contact to the ground why so much camber? If its your offsets why did you go negative? I am trying to do something no one has done, fitting 13 inch wide wheels and 345s with minimal camber within stock fenders obviously. Anyone can add spacers and camber and consider themselves fitted and stanced. Im just saying Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk |

Arent there 375s for 21s lol.

21s will also severely limit your tire choices. What specs are you going for?

holy crappp those are big

I seriously dont see you running 345's on a 13" at -2.3 camber settings... What offsets are you running? if you are running 345's they wouldnt look stretched as a 345 series tire has a 13.5" sectional width which is wider than your rim and the tread width is exactly 13". Your tire would be square... Why show us only crappy cell phone pics? Im not trying to rain on your parade... I would just like to see more proof.
We just put on 20 x 12 -7 offset with toyo r888 315/30/20 and even at -3.5 camber we are 2" outside a stock fender... Unless your running a high offset 13 and a 3.5"-4" lip I just dont see it coming even close with close to stock camber. Your setup is CLEAN I will give you that  Mike |
The negative hellaflush offsets are killing ya. Why didnt you just keep the offsets on your original strasse wheels?
3.5 camber!!??? Thats alot of camber. Ill post pics once all tires are mounted. The tires are actually stretched just enough not to be a square setup. We used a spare 345 to test fit. The front tires will be mounted tomm hopefully. On a side note it is kinda ironic you asking for proof of something after your build thread and the circus it turned into. :) Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk |
We are going widebody on my car that's why we went crazy offset... Lol at -3.5 being alot of negative camber hehe I ran that for 20k miles on my s2k before trading it in for the Z. I told people I wasn't able to post until we finished... Part of the deal I have with GTM. They recently posted an older dyno run showing us making 1035hp and a video as well. I drove the car today into SEMA. It's a monster!!!! Even the GTR's I was rolling with took notice and made comments of OMG that thing sounds SICK! It is what it is those who were around the project spoke forward that all was good/true and those others who were keyboard jockeys just couldn't Comprehend a 4.5L making power... Lol we made our initial goal a long time ago at 24psi we are now in the 30's and have to make adjustments so we can run more boost :) and make even more power! I forsee well beyond 1500hp :D

I originally did 3.0 for the look. im sitting at 2.0 now thinking it would be ok for an autocross setup but even after that its still too much.
i dont need to know what a 345's contact patch is like to know that it wouldnt use 100% of its tread with anything more than -2 i cant imagine any factory z being close to -2.3 when spec is at 1.41 max. that being said i was considering a 20x12 20x13 setup at one point just to say it is possible but tires are too expensive with those sizes and i dont like over streching. i have no doubt it would work with mild offsets given the amount of room between the inside of my wheel/tire to the hub/damper clearance. |
