ARK GT-S Lowering Springs
Leaning towards running the ARK GT-S Lowering Springs w/ the Nismo OEM struts along w/ a rear camber kit. A couple of questions.
-Will I need wheel spacers? -Will I need toe bolts? -Will my car scrape w/ this setup? (Car has to remain functional and driveable). |

Spacers - personal preference. If you don't want the sunken wheel look, yes. 15F/20R will do the trick.
Toe Bolts - yes. SPL arms and their "eccentric lock out kit" seems to be the way to go. Scrape - yes. This drop is more aggressive than the Swifts, and will wear your shocks quicker as well. Just be wary of inclines for driveways/parking lots.

Thanks.
Will my Nismo OEM struts be able to handle the lowering of the car? Quote:

Yep. Most people run springs on stock shocks and report zero issues for tens of thousands of miles. The things to keep in mind are spring rates and reduced right height, as these will effect shock travel and stress. Hoping to get a set of swifts in the future and will not be worrying about damper replacement.

Are extended studs worth the $$$ for me ? Not doing any track time and it's a weekend car. Got a pair of H&R but didn't realize they were not bolt ons. Going bolt ons in the back and either installing the extended studs ones I have and paying for installation or selling them and picking up a pair of bolt ons for the front. Have read some say go for the safest bet = extended studs but have also read many state they are full bolt on with no problems at all.
Going 20 in the front and either 20 or 25 in the back, lowered on swifts, on stock sport setup. Anyone ? |

Okay after lots of reading, I went with extended studs with 20mm and 25mm bolt-on Z1 spacers. But before I stalled them, I installed 275 up front. will I have any problems? 2012 Sport

No because you haven't provided the necessary information. What wheel size and offset? Stud length is only relevant to the spacer size. Tire size is only relevant to the wheel width.

Sorry, its OEM sport wheels so (F) 19x9 + 47. Original front tire size is 245/40. I upgraded to same size as rear which is 275/35. I want to add my 20mm Z1 spacers. Do you think it will clear the fenders? I wanted to try it but it's a "slip on" and I need insall my extended studs to see if the the whole set works. My extended studs are 20mm extended.
