Do I have to replace the studs in the front for a 20mm? I'm trying to get h&r 20mm DRM bolt on spacers but, on stillens website says it won't fit in the front.

I have 20mm H&R bolt on spacers on the front and back no stud replacements. It looks great and have no issues with rubbing or poking out too much IMO. Though if I could do it again, I would even consider 25mm for the rears.

Just did B2autodesign spacers
Got some spacers at B2autodesigns from Charlie and Adrian. Great folks to work with BTW.
Did 20mm bolt on's front and back on a 2012 Roster Touring with Sport Package. Used B2's 20mm spacers and had no trouble along with saving 50 or 60 bucks. AFAIK the quality of the B2 product was fine and hub centric, get back to you if they fly off . The 19" Rays actually have a relief on the back side of the rims to accept the protruding studs. Makes me wonder if 15's would have worked on the front without requiring stud replacement, the extra 5mm is less than .2 of an inch. 20's do look good. |

What's the point of a hub centric spacer if the wheel is larger? I know hub centric is for a tight fit. For example the rotor is about 65.9mm outter diameter and the wheel is about 66mm inner diameter. Obviously the wheel fits nice at tight. Aftermarket hub centric spacers seem to come 66.10mm inner diameter to fit over the rotor and I'm sure 65.9mm to fit the factory wheel again for a nice tight fit.
But if your aftermarket wheels are say 73mm bore then whats the point of having a hub centric spacer? The spacer is no longer making contact with the wheel. Why not just run a normal flat spacer at that point since the wheels only being held on by the lug nuts anyways.

Is the increase in negative camber from adding spacers enough to dramatically increase tire wear? Im debating if its worth getting an alignment done. I do like the more aggressive look however.

Can someone link me to the proper length studs for use with 8mm spacers? I found a bunch of Ichiba ones on ebay, and know that they need to be 12x1.25, but am unsure on the length. Thanks

I'm not sure what you're asking because spacers don't effect camber. Last edited by Allstock; 07-11-2013 at 03:06 AM. |

I got my car aligned and the camber changed both front and rear. Only slightly but enough to throw the alignment off.

I'm looking into getting 15F/20R mm DRS H&R spacers from the stillen website. The price is listed as $103. Is that by the pair or individual? Sorry if this is a stupid question :\
