Still torn. lol. The front is just a taaad bit aggressive and the original tire size I had @ 255/35 was rubbing at dips with stock alignment. I then switched out the tires and went 225/35 - stretched. and problem was solved. still running stock alignment. I'd prefer meaty tires on a 370z but I'll do stretch for another few years until Mark finds me another awesome set of wheels. =P

Andy,

Fronts: Hankook Ventus V12 225/35/20
Back: Hankook Ventus V12 255/35/20

My speedo is off by 4-5 miles at 80MPH.

KaienZ34 10-31-2011 01:33 PM

255's on the rear? That seems very skinny.

litesky 10-31-2011 01:57 PM

yeah. streeeeeetttch

RavSpec 10-31-2011 03:35 PM

Sam, next set of tires, try this

245/30 and 295/25 and drop the car and run a slight neg cambers.

See below pics of John's car. He is running slightly higher spec than you, but very very close.

No worries, Mark. I like it the way it is right now! Few years down the line I'll probably sell these off and try some new shoes. I'll be sure to hit you up!

Isn't 255/30/20 on a 9.5 inch front and 305/25/20 on a 10.5 rear pretty common or no?

yes, pretty common, but offset need to be higher. Sam has a much lower offset setup on this car.

Also need to do -2 camber on the rear and drop the car to clear the fender.

:/ You I think you can run wider tires with slightly more camber. Also with 255, wouldn't you go with a 30 sidewall? I'm running 255/35/19 right now up front.
