Does this procedure allow the ECU to learn newly installed TPMS' or only reset with previously programmed existing units?
Thanks

I feel I had a hard time getting my '10 into learn mode. Brand new OE TPMS' in the fronts. Procedure followed to the Tee.
Is the learn mode flash rate the same as the usual initial low tire pressure warning flash rate? The time I THINK I got it right the tire pressure warning light was solidly lit upon turning on the ignition, it then went to blink mode after 5 grounding touches. I immediately took the car on a drive and at 10 minutes on the dot the light stopped flashing and went solid. I'm not certain it was in learn mode because the flash rate was the same as initial low tire pressure warning flash rate AND when my tire pressures are typically low it will flash in that cadence and then go solid. Trying to get some input before I refill the tires upon cooling. Thanks for any help you can lend on the flash rate speed for learn mode.

I could not find the tpms plug. Giving up after almost an hour. May be I should go to the dealer but not sure if the light will go away permanently?
I bought the new wheels and tires from fitment industry. The tpms pops up after doing the alignment. Anyone that have the picture of where the tpms located, that would be great. I tried to google and youtube, found some videos on Nissan cars but not 370z. |
