Perfect Size Wheel?
The biggest problem of the design of the 370Z in my opinion is that the wheel doesn't fill out the rear wheel well. Does anyone know what the perfect width is? the width of the optional Rays wheels are 265 i believe. When I get a 370Z, I plan on getting the Rays Engineering wheels shown on the GT-R Spec V which are 275. Anybody know for sure which size would fill out the best?

In which case, the rear tires on the Rays come in 275's stock, fronts are 245's.

As for wheel size the stock sports Rays are 19x9 and 19x10, the Nismo Rays are 19x9.5 and 19x10.5.
Tire size doesn't really play too much into how full the wheel well looks, it's the wheel offset. I currently have 275 front and 305 rear tires and it still looks much the same as stock. |

I would say at least 9.5 fronts and 10.5 rears, with 10/11 being ideal. And 255/285 minimum rubber.
But offsets are MUCH more important if you want that "perfect" look. |

I think perfect sized wheel is all personal preference. I would like to see a 19x9.5 up front. I think having 1 inch difference in width on a car with almost 50/50 weight distribution is not good. 19x9.5 F and 19x10 R would be ideal for me. Also a little more offset to get the wheels a tad closer to the fenders edge would be better too.

I'm trying to get there myself I've installed 15mm spacers on the front and rear, and it's looking a little better I eventually would like to go with wider rims, so this is going to help me determine the offset.
Here is pics with the spacers: 15mm Spacer installed (Rear) Stock wheel specs for sport package: Front 19x9 +47 245/40/19 Rear 19x10 +30 275/35/19 Here is a wheel offset calculator: Wheel Offset Calculator I think this is definitely a matter of preference, but based on this info I think for me the perfect wheels would be. Front: 19x9.5 +30 275/35/19 Rear: 19x11 +22 305/30/19 Option Rear: 19x10.5 +15 305/30/19

that is really nice minicobra! since the rims i'd like to get are only 10mm wider hopefully all i'd need be a 5 mm spacer.

So when you go to buy the set of wheels it goes something like this?
Front: 19X9.5 with a offset of +30 Rear 19x10.5 with a offset of +22 Is that right?

I don't know if the +22 on the rear will put it out far enough. The wheel calculator says 14mm more then stock. I've got 15mm spacers on the rear with the stock sport wheel and it could come out a bit more, maybe 5mm. If your going to use a 305 width tire, then it may be ok, I know someone on here has a +22 with a 305 tire, I'll look for pics.

No, I didn't, but then I never really pushed the car too hard to be able to tell the difference. It felt pretty much the same, I put the front spacers on the following weekend, so didn't have a lot of time with just the rears.
