Got new tires now my wheel shakes
Thanks for the comments below, I returned to the dealership for the third time, and drove with a technician who said the wheel was shaking but tried to convince me that it wasn't bad, which is unacceptable of course. ANY WHEEL SHAKE ON THESE CARS IS UNACCEPTABLE unless you know you have bent the rim or something. So after that i insisted they check my rotors, since i was convinced over torqued my tires lugnuts, making the rotor off (they are super sensitive on the 370Z). They spun my rotors and road forced balanced again, that fixed the wheel shake while braking, and pretty much i can live with the steering now from 75-80 shake. The shake is there every now and then, but very very slight so i figured i'll stop fussing for now. So make sure they use the calibration on the Torque gun CORRECTLY or they will over torque your lug nuts and the wheel will shake even though the wheels are balanced. That is what i learned.

You need to get the tires road force balanced, it is a more accurate form of balancing that is pretty much standard these days.
They can also spin up the rims without tires to find the light spot and match it up to the heavy spot on the tire (performance low profile tires may have this marked by a dot). What did you get for tires?

OP, have the tech ride in the car with you. Also make sure they mounted the wheel correctly. Sometimes these idiots use impact wrenches to put the wheel back on.

Sarah if you're not getting results I would bite the bullet and have an independent tire shop check the balance. There is very little else outside of improperly mounting the wheel that would cause a shake after tire replacement.

''On the tires???'' WTF. Really? What do you take me for? This is a wheel/ tire issue so the rings would apply to the wheels.

NISSAN is probably static balancing them, bring them to a shop and say u want a dynamic balance, Dynamic is balance side to side and up and down... as per say a static balance is side to side, which would cause a hopp.. im pretty sure thats how it goes i learnt this in automotive service tech. the first year which was like 9 years ago so i could be wrong.

Where is the place in Central CT?? I will drive to get true professionals to look at it. I'm printing out these threads and bringing it with me next time. The dealership also dinged ALL MY RIMS (which they have refinished already) and blamed the balancer. They had a 17 year old monkey do my tires i swear. I'll let you all know what fixes it. Thanks for the help this site is awesome, it helped me fixed a recall issue with a high pitched noise from the car's computer, they didn't fix it until i quoted issues from this site.
