That's a bone head comment, seeing as 6 of the top 10 cities for car theft are in CA.
Getting back on topic, RAD out of Germany makes some two-piece locks that are a bit expensive, but incredibly difficult to circumvent. They have tiny little teeth (almost like a gear) that will strip off when removed with anything but the key. I question the value of an alarm, as they seem to go off unnoticed now that everyone has them? Seems like an alarm might help though. To all Nismo owners, the Ray's Wheels on the Nismo are hot items with the low-lifes among us. My dealer already had Nissan locks installed when I bought the car because he feared losing the wheels right off the lot. Less than a month after I bought mine, I noticed a few scrapes casing out mine while it was in the driveway getting its weekly bath. |
