Get stance! WORK S1R | Huge Lips, Low Offset

Are you tired of boring wheel fitment? Well check these out! We recently received these WORK Meister S1R wheels in Matte Bronze. The specs on these are 18x10 -12 (5.5" Lip) front, 18x11.5 +0 (5.75" lip) rear. These are beautiful, and these pictures don't really do them justice. The center disk is Matte Bronze, with a Matte Bronze Anodized barrel which gives the wheels a nice contrast. The WORK Meister S1R is a 2 piece wheel, and is brand new for 2011. The S1R is an evolution of the popular WORK Meister S1, but WORK has redesigned the center disk.

These particular wheels are one of the very first sets in this finish to hit the US, and with these specs they're definitely going to be unique. These were ordered for a 2003-06 Nissan 350Z NON-BREMBO, but could realistically be installed on a huge variety of cars.

Here's a photo of a 350Z with similar specs, but obviously different wheels. The car below is very similar to what these wheels would fit like.

Very nice indeed but the finish just doesn't work for me though. Reminds me of a dirty penny.

These pictures don't really do the wheels justice. Even the photos from WORK Wheels website don't do it, in my opinion. I see where you're coming from, though. These would look stunning on a white or blue car imo.

kinda looks like the Rauh Welt cars from Japan but I'm pretty sure those cars are mostly running SSRs

Rauh Welt... mmmmm

I know for a fact the Natty Dread is on SSR SP1s. They're also 18s, like these WORK S1Rs. The SP1 is a 3 pc wheel though, and the design is a bit different. If I had to compare the the SSR SP1 to a WORK wheel, it'd be the older WORK S1 3 piece.

This S1R is a brand new 2 piece design for 2011.

lets see em mounted on a 370z! :tiphat:
not a fan of the color.
I'd like to see simpe silver.

dvo 08-05-2011 12:38 PM

The bronze is nice but a silver or gunmetal would be nice as the color would be more neutral, Either way, this is a sick wheel!

I might have to put these on my Huffy if nobody buys them soon!

vividracing 08-29-2011 07:31 PM

Nobody wants a free ticket into the cool kids club? These wheels guarantee entrance into said club.

vividracing 08-30-2011 07:58 PM

These are now on eBay, so they probably won't last much longer. Still offering a special price for all forum members!!

18's are great if you want to go as low as possible! And yeah, I agree... These on a pearl white or blue car would be gorgeous. I wish you guys could see these in person. I showed the pics to a friend, and when he came in to take a look at them he was so impressed with the color.

dirTy_shoeZ 08-31-2011 01:27 PM

Center disk is matte bronze, barrel is anodized bronze. I'm sure any competent painter could match the color of the center if he had them in front of him... Buy 'em and take them to the painter!! :icon14:

Happy Tuesday!

vividracing 09-07-2011 12:00 PM

I saw these wheels in the warehouse today and couldn't stop doing this:

:happydance:

vividracing 09-09-2011 06:24 PM

I might have to buy these and make a coffee table...
