Rear Sport Rims on Front - Will it work?

I was thinking of getting rear sport rays and putting them in the front. would this work and would it be more flush?

Rui Z 07-27-2011 07:52 PM

I believe the wheels will stick out 30 mm more. Which means the wheels will be beyond flush.

I think it should work fine.

Boost_lee 07-27-2011 11:00 PM

on the fender side, it should be close to a 9.5 +22mm fitment, which is popular on here. There will of course be less clearance on the inside than that wheel, but I think it will still work.

Hmmmmm wish I could do that.. lol 10.5 rears will not work so well in the front.

You might be ok. I am not worried about the outside. More the inside would be the problem if any.

thanks for the info guys. guess ill try throwing the rear onto the front and see tomorrow. i heard theres a bolt or something that prevents putting the rear onto the front. is it hard to remove or anything?

Boost_lee 07-28-2011 01:38 AM

its a 10mm bolt on a spacer. very easy to remove

btw if you look at the limited run of the Volk G12 Nissan fitment, they list a 20x10 +30, and 20x11 +15

based on the stock specs given earlier, inner clearance should be fine. you're gaining 4mm of inner clearance.

I'm running 20 x 10 +15 no problems just added camber

Why are you planning to do this ?

Why not just get a spacer?

MD-370z 07-30-2011 11:25 AM

Did you find time to try this, very curious about this!
