Disabling TPMS

Hey guys I'm getting new wheels/tires next week and I've decided to leave the TPMS on my stockers. I know I'm gonna get an annoying light, but is there a way to turn it off? I'm on my phone, but I did a quick search with no luck. Thanks guys

Can it be disabled with Uprev?

That's in idea, I haven't had my tune yet. I know it can omit the o2 sensors, change rev and speed limiters.

I doubt you can disable it with uprev. If it bugs you, just put some black tape over it.

Ha!

it use to be easier in older cars, just remove the bulb.

Why not swap them into your wheels?

You'll learn to ignore it after 3 days..

Sometimes it doesn't fit.

New Sensors cost about $160...Small price to reduce the pain!

ZeeingAround 07-27-2011 10:25 AM

The dealer told me $50 to marry them to the car. They said they only hold 4 sensors at a time.

Its going to blink on start up then stay solids forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL... Just deal with it.

If I remember correctly some dude in the 350Z forum mounted all four of his in the spare tire to get rid of the light.
