Most theives also aren't stupid enough to run around a nice safe neighborhood, they will stick out like a sore thumb. I also don't put things in my car or have cars that are worth reselling.

Yeah, like I said originally... Any thief can get through a set of wheel locks. It's just an added obstacle that will (hopefully) make them move onto an easier target. A tilt sensor is definitely great, but on cars like 240SX and Hondas, an alarm is very easy to defeat.
