Let's go for next Saturday. I will be in NY the weekend after and after that I will need to find time to get my tail lights painted.

We can do it outside as long as the weather is nice and sunny to help dry the stuff off or we can wait until he gets back so we can use the shop. Your call.

You guys gotta keep me posted on this, actually I'd like to watch, Im a little skeptical of it all, so please keep me posted, especially if yall meet up. thanks

Looks like we will be doing it Saturday morning. I know you usually work then, but if we are still there by the time you get home I can let you know. Just PM me your number.

Here's some more reading and pics of the stuff in action.

This guy actually did his entire G35 in plasti dip and rode around in it for a while before peeling it off.

This is pretty cool, I wouldnt mind having a "blk: car for sometime... I wonder how the paint would stay after peeling it off?

No problem man! PM me your number as well so I can get in touch with you easily. It looks like we will be having a mini-meet at Ron's house :rofl2:

So Ron, what time do you think we should start. I'm thinking like 9-10 AM would be good.

I'm going to go to Lowe's to get a can of plasti dip and a can of clear coat and try to experiment to see if it will work.

Thanks,

I wouldn't mind working this out with you but don't know if the whole car can be done unless you come really early. The shop doesn't have the best ventilation as me and Masa experienced that day.

Depending on the weather when I get out of work today I might try my luck on the rear valance. I will post pics.

The hardest part is trying to figure out how to leave the paint with a clean cut edge. When you start pulling the painters tape off it likes to take the paint with. I have a few ideas that I'm going to look into.

9am sounds fine to me. Solid Katfish is gonna try his hand at it later today using a putty knife instead of me using an xatco knife, see if it makes the cutting a little easier.
