Recommended Spacers?
I am considering purchasing the following used:
SSR Werfen GT-03 19X9.5 +29 19X10.5 + 31 My car: 370z with sport package. What size spacers would you advise? Any pros/cons with these wheels? Thanks! |
It depends on how far you want to go.
What size tire are you running on them...? How low is your drop? I rub with a 9.5 +15 in the front with negative camber, but my car is also lower than many on here. I also have a 10.5 +0 and it fits perfect. I would say, 15mm up from and 25 in the back but that's just me. |

Swift springs will be installed this Friday:) |
I think the +15 and +25s will give it a good look... it will turn your wheels into +14 F and +6 R
That might be a little aggressive for some, but if it's too aggressive for you, go with a 10mm and 20mm. That would change them to +19 F and +11 F. |
alto - check the back spacing on the GT03's for caliper clearance. if it has more than 6" you are well in the clear.
GT03's are beautiful wheels but they are pretty heavy (27/29lbs for 19x9 and 19x10) i have them on my G35C... :p i luv them but my G35C is my dd. not sure if id use such heavy wheels on my sports car. |

Assuming I am not tracking my car, what kind of impact will the extra weight have on the car? If the high definition pictures support what the seller is saying about the wheels, the deal I am getting will make it worth going with these wheels for now. I can always upgrade to some Volk's later on:) |

Out of curiosity, how do the Forgestar F'14's compare in weight? (If I end up purchasing new wheels these would be it).

as for the weight 22lbs vs 27 is pretty huge. on my G35C i noticed longer braking distance (under normal driving), heavy footed while turning and changing directions in switch backs. once you're use to the new dynamics it's not too big of a deal but why downgrade your performance from the factory wheels on a sportscar? on a coupe like my G35C im going 50/50 on looks and performance, but on my 370Z im going more like 100% for function and not degrade it from stock. good looks is only a side-effect. :p |

if you're getting a good deal I'd say go 10-15 mm
