In a debate about rims...
I have already posted a request to have a photoshop done for this, but I also have to ask a technical question about it. I want to put Axis Hiros staggered 19's OR Axis Shine staggered 19's. Am I going to have to change the offset with either one of these? Or will I be able to just slap em on and go? Any help is appreciated

I'm pretty sure you will need spacers. Offset 9.5 wide 30ish front, and 10.5 15ish rear will look flush. But you can go more agressive. The axis is weak with offset and width.

I really like the wider lips and the 3 inch inset along with a 5 spoke design. These are the only ones I have found that meet my liking. Do you know of any others that might fit that description?

Honestly if you want wheels that are going to look more flush than stock you're probably going to have to go with more expensive wheels like volks, or ssr. If you're planning to drop the car an inch and use same size tires as oem then at least 9 inch wide with 30mm for the front and 10inch wide with 15mm for the rears. The te37 comes in those sizes but it's about $3500. I'm thinking of getting ssr in 9.5 37mm, 10.5 12mm. These wheels are about $2800.

I had SSR's on my 8 but they seemed kind of generic. Either they were knock-offs (which I doubt) or they were really good rims and I just hated to damn logo! Either way, I will have to check out some of their other series. Thanks again

Anyone know anything about Motegi rims? Are they bottom of the barrel or are they pretty decent? I found these and was looking for another opinion

Motegi? Really? No thanks. If you look at the price tag alone, a set of four of those Motegi wheels equal one good quality wheel.
Also, 19x8 in the front? I'd try to keep the stagger close to stock specs, which means 1" difference. Of course, that's just me.

Well, you might be right on keeping close to stock or going a little wider but I just grabbed that one and posted it because I wanted to see what other people knew about Motegi rims. I can't find anything and really just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with them

Damn... I had SSR rims on my 8 (you can see em in my album) that took me over 3 months to pick those. I just can't find any that I really think I would want for the Z. I just need some ideas from like $1500 - $2200 for the whole combo

I dont know how strong they are but the forgestars seem nice.. As in they look pretty cool but they weigh a lot. You can always go the work / volk route and be baller
