I'm going with RE-11's in the next couple days. For sure going with 285's in the back but it's a toss up between 255/265 for the fronts. Leaning towards 255's

A lot of guys running wider tires up front. Have any of you noticed any vibration (in the steering wheel) due to a wider tire?

^^reduced gas mileage

Looking at the stock 245's it seems a 265 is a bit too wide and would be sloppy.....? The rear's almost looked stretched with 275's and would be cured with a 285. I definitely think I'm doing 255/285's.

I had RE-11s with 265s up front and 285s in the rear with no problems. I am no longer on the stock wheels but will stay at 265s in the front and move to 305s in the rear...

Why did you decide to go up to 305?

Just went to 285/35/19s all around. Stock Sport wheels, stock suspension. No spacers. Feels great on the street; haven't been able to get to the track or AutoX yet so no great feedback yet. No complaints about road manners here with the wider fronts.

I went with the board favourite, Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's in 265/35 front and 285/35 rear.
I'm lowered on Swift springs and running H&R spacers, 20mm rear and 15mm front.

So guys with RE-11's. How are the tires holding up? I understand that thread life is much shorter with tires like these but I'm also not a fan of spending $1300 every year and a half to two years.
