Yeah I wouldn't buy that stuff. My safety and my z is worth a couple grand more.

Yeah I would never rock a wheel that is made by them, now I have even more reason not to. |

He deserves it for putting BBS center caps on replica wheels..
On a more serious note, I'm glad the guy is OK and nobody (including him) got hurt, but he deserves it for putting BBS center caps on replica wheels.. But still, that is massive damage even for a replica wheel... Not totally related to the topic in discussion but I think, if you're going to use replica wheels, take them for what they are and use them as replica wheels.. Simple.. It's not cool at all to put VOLK, BBS, RAYS, or whatever other logo on replica wheels to try to make them pass as genuine...

yep, most cheap wheels including XXR's and such shatter vs bend.
this is why Weds was making vid's too before about buying their replicas. there's technology behind alloys and you know who makes the best alloys in the world... dates back to the samurai days. say no to fake. |

All this hate on LM reps. Just because something is a rep does not mean it is bad quality. True a lot of them are made in China or overseas... again that does not make them bad quality. Miro and Vorrstoen both make decent reps. I doubt even an authentic LM would stand a chance against a 2ft diameter pothole going 45mph. Be real about it.

I took another look at the picture and I'm having trouble believing this kind of damage was done at 25mph....

lotsa things to question.
If he hit a pothole driving and the wheel did actuall seperate like that. There should be alot more damage, unless the car came to an immediate instant stop right as it happened. Cus otherwise he would have been rolling on that damage wheel for a bit in which case it would have gone in/out of the car causing other damage. |
