Wheel Locks for '10 Nismo

Will these locks fit the car?

http://www.rhdjapan.com/kyo-ei-dency...t-silver-30851

Wanted to make sure since I have been reading up on all the problems people had with the wrong wheel locks from Nissan.

More than likely....sorry to say...nope.

The OEM rims need a "mag" style or a washer type lug nut. These would work if you have aftermarket rims.

You would probably have to use the OEM wheel locks...it looks like this:

Sorry to say.

I used the make and model selector on the site and they were listed for a 370Z... weird oh well.

i watched the guy at discount tire remove all four factory locks in under 20 minutes. (i lost my key)

These are a bit different though they are covered by a cap that is held on by a pretty strong magnet. The cap has to be removed to get to the "Key" part and the cap rotates around the lug/key. Read some pretty good review on the product but you are right given the right tools and time I am sure anyone can get them off.

Anyways after doing a bit more research the lug is not the type on the 370Z Nismo even though the site claims they should work. I was hoping I was wrong but guess not :-)

Hey Fuct,

Did you put wheel locks on your NISMO and if so can you advise of the make and model so I can order some? Thanks in advance.

Only wheel locks i know of for any of the factory wheels are the OEM locks, which in my opinion are a POS.

yah talk to your dealer for the factory locks.

koffeegy 10-31-2011 05:52 PM

Actually I ordered "Gorilla" brand wheel lock part #63621. Found them on Amazon.com for around $13. Better than $51 form the dealer.

For stock wheels I would go with stock wheel locks. The stock lugs have a washer on them. The stealership put the wrong wheel locks on my z and now one is stripped while the other lock just snapped off, so be careful

Check out the sticky: http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...d-lug-nut.html

The washers they packaged were a little to short, so I had to go to Autozone and pickup another set of them and made sure that they were also a little wider. Plus I had to stack them together. Here is a comparison photo and then a finished photo. All in all, the grad total was $20 bucks. WINNING!

It worked out just fine. I had to use two washers per lug nuts. No issues thus far.
