TSW Interlagos - any good?
Hey,
Was looking at wheels and came across the TSW Interlagos 19" or 20" option in matte black. I really like the looks... http://www.bgworldwheels.co.nz/images_gallery/899_l.jpg Anyone have experience with these on the 370z? Recommendations? I know they are 'cheap' so I am a little wary. Thanks for your input. |
well they look good.
|
The front fitment looks aggressive unless you plan to lower it. Wat are the specs on them?
Weight? They look okay but if from TSW, I'd take the nurbrings. :) |
Thanks, guys. I haven't spoken with them directly and their website doesn't appear to answer the question around weights. I'd want them as 19" htough, but I am not sure how much offset I need to manage to Brembo's. Especially, as you mention, the front wheels.
Hmm, they do look nice + light though. |
it should be illegal to keep a car like that without dropping it.
|
That's a healthy tracking stance. Lots of working travel. :yum:
|
Their actually made the same way the nurburgrings are, so you actually will most likely see their weights around the same. They are Tsw's newer designs, which are fantastic quality. THey are in no way, consider a cheap type of wheel, at least the rotary forged ones. I actually like this spokes alot, so I have to agree on the look.
|
Chris, do you sell these? If so, do you ship to Australia?
Feel free to PM me a price including shipment to 2015 (Sydney) NSW, Australia. Also, would you happen to know if these fit the Brembo's as a 19" option? I'd like to stay as close as possible to the stock tyre configuration (245 or 255's in the front, 275 or 285 in the back). Oh, and what is the weight on the Nurburgrings? They look good too, but I would almost guess these to be a little lighter as there's less on them. Thanks. |
Those look great for the money, I wasn't really a fan of most of their wheels but I like those a lot. Are there more pictures of them on the Z?
|
Hmmm....I found one website saying 23 pounds wheel weight front.
$2.2k wheel and tyre package: Wheels FRONT 19x9 5x114.3 ET32 TSW Wheels TSW Interlagos Matte Black (or silver) Rotary Forged Wheel REAR 19x10.5 5x114.3 ET27 TSW Wheels TSW Interlagos Matte Black (or silver) Rotary Forged Wheel (not sure if this will fit) Tyres 255/35/19 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 front 295/30/19 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 rear Me likey.... |
Not too bad. Id personally go with Nurburgrings myself, actually I almost did, then I found out about Forgestar and couldnt pass that deal up. I know the Nurburgs are fairly light.
|
I'm normally not a fan of TSW, but these look very good.

i might consider these down the road as well for my G. |
I think the one's on the pic are 20's at least...bit too big for my taste....

Bump because i'm looking at these wheels and need to know what size / offset to use for 18" fitments.
Any ideas? :icon17: |
I bought a set. They are forged and lighter than the factory 19" rays.

The grey one has the following TSW Interlagos and tyres:
20x8.5'' ET20 245/35ZR20 Falken FK452 20x10.5'' ET25 285/30ZR20 Falken FK452 The offset of front ET20 and rear of ET25 put the wheels more outside than the stock ones, calculated from the edge of the original 19" mags: front: +21mm more outside rear: +11mm more outside So the edge of the Interlagos wheels ends up very nicely with the fenders - no spacers required at all. To lower the car is a matter of taste and usability but with a ground clearance of 115-120mm the car is already quite low to the ground. And as 20'' the wheels fill the housing very nice...just my opinion. But the Falken are very noisy on the road and to be considered as cheap tyre. I put on my white one 255/35 and 295/35 Pirelli P Zero on it and it's just perfect. Here some weights: 19x8.5 21.15 19x9 21.45 19x9.5 21.55 19x10.5 23.9 20x8.5 22.25 20x9 23.85 20x9.5 23.6 |
TSW's
Ive been shopping for wheels this winter and keep on coming back for a look at the TSW's. Ilike Vertini's and others but the TSW's look just as good. Haven't pulled the trigger yet but will. Deciding between my stock 18's or 19's with new tires also. That way I can interchange with my soon to have 390Z next year.

I bought a set of 18x9.5 40 offset tsw anetterton, anyone know the weight?
|
We carry TSW, although we don't have the Interlagos listed. I need to let the web team know about that. If anyone wants pricing, just PM me.
Honestly I used to think TSW wheels were kinda "meh" but after riding in my friends car and seeing how little regard he has for potholes, I can say that their quality is great. He's running a 30 or 40 series tire and drives around like he's got a 65 series tire lol. His wheels show no damage. I've worked on the car, driven it, and ridden in it. No vibrations, and no visible issues. |
coming from a tsw nurburgring owner, i can tell you that the tsw's are fairly light wheels. AMAZING quality as well. you wont be dissapointed
|
The TSW Bremmas I had were 30lbs, not light...
|
Does anyone else have any pictures of these? Would like to see them on another car... Weight would be nice to know also.
|
you can visit tsw's site. :)
|
Ya, looked at too many wheel threads and then realized it was already posted... duh, I know.
But I would like to see if anyone has them on their Z besides the pics in this thread and the google mayhem. Thanks. |
Those are 19's and they look good! I wonder what the weight difference between these and nurburgrings are?
|
my nurburgring rear's (19 x 10.5) come in at 22.4 lbs
thats about 26% lighter than the tsw bremma's. also comes in slightly lighter than the interlagos. you will be very hard pressed to find a lighter wheel at that size for a price close to the nurburgrings |
