Rule of thumbs for black cars?

I actually like the bronze colored wheels on black 350Z/370Z. Now chrome is a different story.

I like bronze myself - gold, however...

I like the look of the VS-XX's and was thinking gold, but then I saw it in person on a black car. Blech...way too bright. Bronze is a bit more subdued. Either that or a hyperblack style...

You could add color on the side of the spokes or do rim vinyl.

Rim vinyl isn't my personal favorite either; I still want to make sure that everyone in this community have all options available to them.

I think Chrome on black cars looks pretty good.

Problem with the murdered out cars is that you can't freaking see anything on them. No body lines, no curves... Just looks like a freaking shadow. "Yay... I drive a shadow"

black and chrome looks good if there's not that much chrome, like just the lips and emblems would be cool.

My favorite of all time is a silver car (not dark) with kind of matte black rims with many spokes .

Now this is an excellent murdered out look

What I hate the most is that chrome or silver lip around a black rim...it looks so out of place

If anyone wants to try something different on their 370z's try 20's in the back with 18 or 19's in the front and give it that rake look

Or just 19's in the back and 18's in the front.
I think that would look sw33t

You're thinking the same thing as me, kinda - I wanted to do some 18's in front, 19's rear. 20's aren't for me. Smaller and lighter the better (which kinda contradicts the 19's in rear, but that is a personal preference).

You should try it out. I think it would look amazing personally.

I think 19 rear 18 front will be the best look.

pics! if you decide to do it
