Default general questions about sport 19s and nismo 19s

i don't have time to do all the research and was hoping some guys could help me out... i have a base with the 18s on. i'm looking at get the sport or the nismos... but i needed to make sure they would fit/ not screw up anything with the VDC. also what tire size should i go with? i've read diff posts that changing the rim/wheel size on this car dosn't mess with the speedo since it is measured through the VDC/ABS is this true? i'm not looking to do anything super aggressive. it's my DD, just looking to change her shoes. thanks for you help. like i said, i know there is a search button, but i've got too much crap to do.

Both wheels will fit, and I would just go with stock tire size.

Sport wheels: Front Size 1: 245/40-19
Rear Size 1: 275/35-19

Nismo wheels: Front Size 1: 245/40-19

Rear Size 1: 285/35-19

I plan on going 295's in the rear on my sport wheels once the stock tires are worn out, if I had Nismo wheel's I would go 305's The sport wheels have a 10in wheel in the back where the Nismo has a 10.5in

ok - still the speedo question remains - does changing the tires affect it or is it controlled/monitered by the abs/vdc? anyone know?

Since you have the base why not just run 275/35/19 on the nismo wheels as well on the rear?

Not if you get the stock/equivalent sizes. I have put on stock rays, 40th rays, and nismo rays. VDC might go off sometimes in the beginning when you get new tires, but that's about it. Once it's broken in, then it will be fine.

it will take more time waiting for responses than using common sense or searching and realizing that the only difference from your base/base sport is the fact it has bigger brakes, a vlsd, and a spoiler.. and that oem sizes for any of the wheels will work just fine.. than there are about 100 threads about tire sizes.. that will not take up that much time... you cant have that much other "stuff to do"

actually if ur mother just died and your the executor of her will, and in the military, on emergency leave, from a deployment... there is alot of stuff to do.

thanks to everyone for their input. but the VDC question is still unclear. - if the base 18" tire diameter was say 30" and then the nismos with stock tires for the 19's are a size of 35" - would the VDC know that and adjust the speedo for that? or do i need to buy 19s, and tires that would match the original diameter of the base 18's?
