XXR 521 rims need spacer help
PLEASE HELP!!!
Hi i just purchased some 20" Staggered Flat Black XXR 521 rims. Bolt pattern 5-114.4/120. 20x8.5 offset +32 (front) & 20x10.5 offset +30 (rear) with Falken FK-452 Tires 245/35/20 (front) & 285/30/20 (rear). I have a 2009 370z coupe base model. So my question is, what is the best measurement of spacer should i get installed? |
If you're running stock height or have a mild drop (less than 1"), you could use 15 to 20 mm spacers up front and 20 to 25 mm in the rear.
Personally, I would do 20mm front and 25mm rear. |

So exactly the way i have my rims and tires set up on stock height with 20mm up front and 25mm on rear would be ok? And what would be the best brand of spacers? |
hummm.. at stock height i would go no spacer upfront and 15mm spacers on the rear.
depending on your wheel's disc design if it has voids between the lug bores you can use the V2 type Ichiba spacers or Kic's. If no voids, then you can use the stud-replacement type spacers. your wheels are lug centric so no need for centering rings if you dont have the budget to get them for the Kics. For the Ichiba v2, they come with the rings. hope this helps. :) |

i would suggest no more than 10mm up front and no more than 15 in the rear.

If i go with 10mm up front and 15mm rear, would i need my fenders rolled? Do u think this set up with rise the height of my car becuz im thinkin bout getting some tein s tech springs?
|
No to both questions. With 10 and 15 mm you'll still be slightly inside the fenders. Spacers will not raise the suspension height.

Looks like they will be pretty close to the same overall diameter as OEM, but you'd have to refer to a tire manufacturer spec sheet or use a tire calculator to check the tires' overall diameter to find out for sure.

i hope this will work out fine without rubbing my fenders: Tein S Tech Springs, ichiba 20mm (front) & 25mm (rear), and xxr rims 20x8.5 with 245/35/20 (front) & 20x10.5 with 285/30/20..i just dont want to end up buying all the parts and run the risk of something going wrong
|
20 and 25 might be too much. Just get everything except for the spacers
then when you have it all installed take a measuring tape and see how big of a spacer you want to run. |

ok i know this might be a little off topic but i was wondering with the tein s tech springs, would i need front & rear camber kit?
